The distance my 2014 Tesla Model S can travel after a warranty HV battery replacement

Hello and welcome back to another blog post! Today, we’re going to be talking about a 2014 Tesla Model S that has recently had its traction battery replaced under warranty. This particular Tesla has clocked in an impressive 102,000 miles, which goes to show the longevity and durability of electric vehicles.

The owner, Matt from Go Green Autos, decided to film the range test of the Tesla after the new battery pack was installed. Many people have been curious about the range of the vehicle with the new pack, so Matt took it upon himself to showcase the results.

As Matt opens up the Tesla app on his phone, we get a glimpse of the car’s current charge limit set at 81%. He then adjusts the slider to 100%, which shows a range of 290 miles. While it’s unlikely that the car will ever reach that range in real-world driving, it’s still impressive to see the numbers on the app.

Matt mentions that he typically charges the car to around 70% overnight, and so far, he hasn’t noticed much of a difference in range compared to before the battery replacement. However, he does note that it’s currently winter and the heating is on all the time, which can affect the range of electric vehicles.

Despite the slight decrease in range due to winter conditions, Matt is still satisfied with the performance of his Tesla Model S. He hints at the possibility of doing a range test video in the future to provide more insights into the car’s capabilities.

As the video comes to an end, Matt encourages viewers to engage with the content by leaving comments, asking questions, and suggesting future video ideas. He also reminds viewers to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to stay updated on new uploads.

In conclusion, the 2014 Tesla Model S with a new traction battery pack continues to impress with its performance and range. It’s a testament to the advancements in Electric Vehicle technology and the longevity of Tesla‘s products. Stay tuned for more updates from Matt at Go Green Autos as he continues to share his experiences with electric vehicles.
