Hello and welcome to Plugged In Perspectives! Today, I want to share a recent experience I had at Tesla Service and some exciting updates with my car.
It all started on Tuesday when I brought my car in for a service appointment. The process began with a simple check-in, where they informed me that they were prepping for the service. Soon after, I received an estimate for the work that needed to be done. However, there was a slight hiccup as they initially suggested replacing my wheels with the same kind, which I wasn’t a fan of. I decided to upgrade to the arrow wheels, even though it was a bit more expensive. To me, it was worth the investment for a smoother driving experience.
During my visit, they also provided me with a loaner car, which I accessed through the Tesla app. It was seamless, as if I owned the car myself. I could track the progress of the service, pay for it through the app, and receive notifications when my car was ready for pickup. The convenience of the loaner car made the whole process hassle-free.
After the service, it was determined that all four of my wheels had bent rims, which were promptly fixed. I was thrilled to have the new arrow wheels installed, which not only improved the range of my car but also provided a smoother ride. The new tires and rims made a noticeable difference, especially when navigating potholes and rough roads.
In addition to the service appointment, I also updated my car’s software to version 24.31.15, which included the full self-driving supervised version 12.3.3. This update enhanced the autopilot feature, making it more comfortable for the driver by taking corners a bit wider. I was delighted with the improvements and felt even more confident in my car’s capabilities.
