Comparison between TESLA Service Center and Discount Tire: What You Need to Know!

Hey everyone, welcome back to Sarah J’s blog! Today, I want to share with you my recent experience with getting a new tire for my car. As we all know, the holiday season can be a stressful time, and dealing with a flat tire on top of everything else was not ideal. In my last two videos, I talked about my flat tire situation, and today I am excited to share the outcome with you.

After some research, I decided to go to Discount Tire to get a new tire for my car. I found that they were cheaper than Tesla when it comes to tire replacement, and they also offered more free services. When I got my tire replaced at Tesla, they did not mention anything about a warranty or ensure that all my tires had the same pressure. It was an emergency situation, so I just wanted to get back on the road quickly.

One of the things that the Tesla representative mentioned was that the tires have a self-sealing adhesive, but I couldn’t find any proof of this on the Michelin website. However, the Discount Tire employee confirmed that the tires did indeed have the self-sealing adhesive. I also asked about using Fix-A-Flat or tire Slime, but was advised against it as it could potentially ruin the tire.

I was impressed with the service at Discount Tire, as they matched all my tire pressures and offered free tire inspections. They also provide free tire rotations and rebalancing every six to eight thousand miles. Despite not being able to rotate my tires due to the uneven wear, I was happy with the overall service.

I am planning a road trip this weekend with my family, and I will be adding another 400 miles on my tires. After the holidays, I plan to get two new front tires as well. While I couldn’t afford to replace all four tires at once, I may consider getting a warranty for all of them in the future.

I was initially hesitant to take my car to Discount Tire due to negative experiences I had heard about, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received. The employees were knowledgeable and handled my Tesla with care. I even bought a tire kit for our road trip to handle any potential tire issues.

Overall, I am happy with my decision to go to Discount Tire for my tire replacement. It was a more affordable option compared to Tesla, and I felt comfortable with the service I received. I hope this blog post helps alleviate any fears you may have about getting your tires serviced at Discount Tire. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays, and I’ll see you in the next post!
