Welcome back to the channel, everyone. I hope you’re having a fantastic day. Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for. It’s been over three weeks since the last video where my Tesla had a handle braking issue. Well, today is the conclusion of that story, and I have some positive things to say about Tesla‘s service department.
After describing the problem in detail to Tesla and scheduling a service appointment, I received an email and text notification this morning confirming our appointment. I arrived a little late due to traffic, but the Tesla mobile service team was ready to fix the issue. They quickly diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be a faulty sensor, not a broken wire as I had suspected.
The Tesla tech replaced the entire handle assembly with a new one, which was a much simpler and cleaner solution. The whole process took less than two hours, and the cost was reasonable considering the quality of the service and the new handle.
After the repair was completed, I tested the door handle, and it worked perfectly. No more pink string or crawling over the back seat to open the door. The experience with Tesla‘s service was excellent, and the technician, Travis, was knowledgeable and efficient.
In conclusion, the lessons that traditional dealerships can learn from Tesla‘s service include transparency, quick estimates, and a focus on customer experience. By adopting some of Tesla‘s practices, dealerships can improve their service offerings and attract more business.
I’m excited to have my car back in working order and grateful for the positive outcome of this service appointment. And don’t forget to check out my new podcast, where I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes content and exclusive updates for members.
