Hey there, welcome back to my blog! Today, I am super excited to share with you my experience trying out the brand new e.l.f Soft Glam Foundation. When I first heard about this foundation, I was thrilled because it seemed like it would be perfect for me, and the best part was that it was only $8! So, I wasted no time and placed my order as soon as it was available on e.l.f’s website.
The foundation is set to be available in stores starting on Saturday, June 8th, but I was able to get my hands on it a little earlier through their website. You can also find it in Walmart and Amazon first, and then it will be rolled out to other retailers as the summer goes on. With 36 different shades to choose from, I went with the shade medium cool.
I started by applying the foundation with a brush on one side of my face and a sponge on the other side to see which method worked better for me. The foundation claims to be medium to buildable coverage, hydrating, lightweight, long-wearing, and have a satin finish. I found that it blended easily with both the brush and sponge, and the shade matched my skin well.
I tested the buildable coverage by adding more product to achieve a fuller coverage look, and I was impressed with how it covered my redness and blemishes without feeling heavy or cakey on the skin. The foundation had a satin finish that didn’t feel oily or greasy, and it sat nicely on my skin, smoothing out any texture.
Throughout the day, the foundation held up well, even after a workout and being out in the heat and humidity. After almost 10 hours of wear, it still looked great on my skin and felt comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it lasted and how nice it looked, especially considering the affordable price point.
Overall, I would give the e.l.f Soft Glam Foundation a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great affordable foundation that works well in the summer heat. I will definitely be reaching for this foundation often, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to perform. Thank you for reading, and I’ll see you in my next post!
