So the other day I was shopping on Amazon and I was just having a little browse through the car cleaning section and there was a couple of products that caught my eye but there was one in particular that really did grab my attention and it was this from Maguire’s and it’s called scratch X. Although it does sound like a Vin Diesel film, I couldn’t resist but to buy it. The reason why I purchased this was because I saw it had over 8,000 reviews and that got me thinking, with that many reviews in the best sellers section, surely they must be doing something right.
In this video, I wanted to find out exactly what it was. Okay, so what’s the deal with this product anyway? Well, I paid about 12 pounds fifty for it and like I said before, it was one of the best-selling products across the UK, so I thought I need to get on board with this because there’s a lot of you out there buying it. So, we need to find out what it is, what it can actually do, and how it can benefit you.
Maguire’s Scratch X is a fine scratch and blemish remover and they say on the label it is a must-have product for those isolated paint problems. It is totally safe on all paint finishes apparently, but I still wouldn’t use it on matte finishes. It is also a perfect choice to remove light scratches, scuffs, and paint transfer. Maguire’s Scratch X exclusive super micro abrasive technology removes blemishes quickly while Advanced popular wax protects the finish.
I decided to test this product on my wife’s Kia Sportage, which was in desperate need of some TLC. The paintwork was covered in scratches and scuffs, so I was excited to see if Maguire’s Scratch X could live up to its claims. I started by working on a small blemish on the hood of the car. After applying the product and buffing it off, I was impressed with the results. The blemish was significantly reduced, although still slightly visible in certain light.
I then moved on to some deeper scratches on the side of the car. While the product was able to improve the appearance of the scratches, it wasn’t able to completely remove them. This led me to realize that the product is best suited for fine scratches and blemishes, as stated on the label.
Overall, I found Maguire’s Scratch X to be a decent product for enhancing the appearance of fine scratches and blemishes. It was easy to use and didn’t create a messy residue like some other products I’ve tried. However, for deeper scratches and more severe paint damage, it may not be as effective.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a quick and easy solution to improve the appearance of fine scratches on your car, Maguire’s Scratch X could be a good option. Just be sure to manage your expectations and understand the limitations of the product. And remember, always follow the instructions and safety precautions when using any car cleaning product.
