My Tesla has malfunctioned

The day started like any other day, with the rain pouring down in beautiful British Columbia. As I pulled my Tesla Model S out of the garage, I noticed a few drops of coolant under the front of the car. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but as the days went by, the spots of coolant grew in number.

I decided to book a service appointment through the mobile app and attached pictures of the coolant leaks for reference. The appointment was scheduled for a week later, but as the days passed, the coolant leaks became more pronounced. I even purchased coolant to top up the reservoir, but upon reading the manual, I found out that topping up the coolant was not recommended.

With the coolant leaks worsening, I updated my service appointment with a new picture showing a long trail of coolant leading from the front of the car to the garage. The night before the scheduled mobile service, I received a text saying that the issue needed to be addressed at the service center in Vancouver, causing me to drive in without any coolant left in the car.

Upon arrival at the service center, I was informed that the issue was a faulty four-way valve that needed to be replaced. The service rep quoted me a price of $570 for the repair, but I insisted that my vehicle was still under warranty. After some back and forth, it was confirmed that the repair would be covered under warranty.

The repair took two hours, and I was relieved that I didn’t have to pay for the costly repair out of pocket. The Tesla service team was efficient and professional, ensuring that my car was back in working order in no time. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome to what could have been a costly repair.

As I drove away from the service center, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the warranty that saved me from a hefty repair bill. It was a reminder of the importance of regular maintenance and keeping an eye out for any issues that may arise. I made a mental note to schedule regular check-ups for my Tesla to prevent any future surprises.

In the end, my car was fixed, and I was back on the road with peace of mind. The experience was a testament to the excellent service provided by Tesla and the importance of staying on top of maintenance for your vehicle. Remember, it’s always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to car maintenance. Cheers to smooth rides ahead!
