My Tesla Model 3 Was Scratched: Service Repair Process and Costs

Hello guys and welcome back to a new blog post! Today, I have a bit of a sad story to share with you all. Recently, a woman accidentally hit my car with her door while I was inside. It was quite a shock, and I couldn’t understand how someone could be so careless. The impact left a small but noticeable mark on my car’s paint, and the clear coat was damaged as well.

I knew I had to get it fixed before it got worse, especially with the rainy weather that could potentially cause rust to form. So, I quickly contacted the woman’s insurance company and they directed me to a body shop that they collaborated with. I called the body shop, got a price estimate, and scheduled a visit to get the repair done.

The next day, I arrived at the repair center and left my car in their hands. They assured me that the repair would only take a day, and that the insurance would cover the cost. I was relieved to hear that I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket for the repair, which was estimated to be around eight to nine hundred dollars.

Later that day, I returned to pick up my car and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had not only fixed the paint damage but also washed and cleaned the interior of my car. The repair job looked flawless, and I was impressed with the quality of their work.

However, I noticed a few small imperfections between the old and new coatings, which I pointed out to the repair technicians. Overall, I was happy with the outcome and grateful for the quick and efficient service.

The following morning, I inspected the repaired area again and was pleased to see that the paint job looked like new. The repair had been done so well that it was hard to tell where the damage had been. I was impressed with the results and felt relieved that my car was back to its original state.

In conclusion, the whole repair process was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the woman’s insurance company and the body shop’s excellent work. I learned that it’s essential to act quickly when accidents happen and to choose a reputable repair shop for the job. I hope this story serves as a reminder to always be cautious and considerate when opening car doors to avoid causing damage to others’ vehicles.
