Reggie Jackson Shines a Light on Mental Health Awareness Month

As a blog writer, I have had the privilege of meeting thousands of children throughout my career. One of the things that I preach most is the importance of being a continual learner and speaking to yourself in a positive light. Recently, I came across a great children’s book that delivers this message perfectly. It’s called “Mirror Face” and it has quickly become one of my favorite affirmations.

The message of “Mirror Face” is simple yet powerful: “You’re me and I’m you.” This affirmation helps me each and every day to take a step back, notice the person across from me, and practice empathy. It reminds me to be kind to myself and to others, and to strive to make the world a better place.

Personally, I relate to this book so much because it emphasizes the importance of self-love and self-care. It encourages readers to look in the mirror, speak positively to themselves, and continue on their own journey of self-discovery and growth.

Just like being a continual learner, practicing self-love and self-care is a never-ending journey. It requires us to learn about ourselves, our emotions, and what brings us joy. It also teaches us how to sit with our times of despair and come out stronger on the other side.

I believe that “Mirror Face” is a book that everyone can benefit from, not just children. Its simple yet profound message serves as a great reminder to be kind to ourselves, show up as our best selves, and spread positivity to others.

I encourage everyone to take on the “Mirror Face Challenge” and remind themselves each day that they are capable of showing up as their best selves. By practicing self-love and self-care, we can all become beacons of light in a sometimes dark world.

In conclusion, “Mirror Face” is a book that I hold dear to my heart. It serves as a constant reminder to stay true to myself, practice self-love, and strive to make the world a better place. I encourage everyone to read this book and take on the “Mirror Face Challenge” to spread positivity and kindness wherever they go.
