Restoring a Damaged Tesla Model 3 to its Former Glory

Hey guys, welcome back to the channel! In this episode, we are excited to share our progress on the Tesla build. We are almost complete, with just a few finishing touches left to do. The front bumper and some trim pieces are all that’s left, and we are eager to get them installed.

The journey to find the right parts for the Tesla has been a challenge. We have been scouring eBay and other sources to find the pieces we need. Recently, we came across a place in Georgia that had a bumper for a great price, saving us over $600 on shipping costs. We also found some other parts, like parking sensors, fog lights, and wheel liners, from various sources, including China. It’s been a scavenger hunt, but we are piecing it all together.

Installing the new parts has been a learning experience. We had to figure out the wiring harness for the bumper, as well as install parking sensors and fog lights. It’s been a process of trial and error, but we are making progress. We even had to do a hard reset on the computer to get one of the side cameras working properly. It’s all part of the challenge of building a custom Tesla.

One of the biggest hurdles we faced was getting the alignment done. It turns out, not many places are willing to do alignments for Teslas, so we had to get creative. We ended up adjusting the tie rod ourselves to get the wheels aligned properly. It took some trial and error, but we eventually got it right.

After installing the final pieces and making sure everything was working correctly, we took the Tesla out for a test drive. We wanted to see how the alignment held up and if all our hard work paid off. And it did! The car drove straight and smooth, with no pulling to one side. It was a satisfying moment to see everything come together.

Overall, the Tesla build has been a rewarding experience. From hunting down parts to overcoming alignment challenges, we have learned a lot along the way. We are excited to see the finished product and take it out on the road. Stay tuned for more updates on our Tesla build and be sure to subscribe to our channel for all the latest updates. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you next time!
