Summer Makeup Tutorial for a Fresh and Dewy Look

Hello and welcome back to my channel! I hope you all are doing well. For today’s look, I’m going to lean into the summertime season and create something super dewy and fresh on our beautiful model, Courtney. So without further ado, if you want to learn how I created this look, keep on watching.

To begin, I’m using the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm to prep our model’s skin. This cleansing balm is a staple in my makeup routine because it not only removes makeup but also cleanses the skin without stripping it of its natural oils, leaving it hydrated and fresh.

Next, I moisturize the skin using the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30, which drenches the skin with moisture and provides sun protection. This product has become a favorite of mine, thanks to its skin-loving ingredients and gel cream texture that works beautifully under makeup.

For foundation, I’m using the Makeup Forever HD Skin Hydroglow Foundation for a dewy, medium coverage finish. I apply it to the perimeter of the face before blending it out towards the center, ensuring a lightweight and natural look perfect for the summertime.

I then use the House Labs Tricorne Skin Tech Concealer to conceal and brighten around the eyes, nostrils, forehead, nose, and chin. This adds a subtle highlight and extra coverage without compromising the skin’s natural look.

To bronze up the skin, I use the SE Sun Melt Cream Bronzer, applying it around the forehead, beneath the cheekbones, and jawline for warmth and definition. Cream products like this bronzer work well in the summer sunlight, giving a second skin finish that powders can’t replicate.

I lightly set the makeup with the Juvia’s Place Loose Setting Powder, focusing on areas where I want to reduce shine while keeping the skin looking dewy. I then apply a vibrant pink cream blush to the apples of the cheeks, giving a youthful and glowy touch to the summertime look.

Moving on to the brows, I use the House Labs Edge Precision Eye Pencil to lightly fill them in and extend the tail for a clean and simple look. I set the brows with the Patrick Ta Major Brow Lamination Gel, ensuring they stay in place all day.

For the eyes, I start with an eyeshadow stick in a matte rose shade before using the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette to add dimension and shimmer to the lids. I finish off the eyes with mascara and a nude eyeliner in the waterline for a brightening effect.

To highlight the face, I use the Fenty Beauty Diamond Glow Highlighter on the cheekbones, nose, Cupid’s bow, and chin, giving a beautiful skin-like glow perfect for the summertime.

For the lips, I create an ombre effect using a nude lip liner, deep red lipstick, and a plumping lip gloss for a high shine finish. This bold lip complements the simple eye makeup and adds a touch of glamour to the look.

Finally, I set the makeup with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray to ensure it stays in place all day long. And there you have it, a fresh and dewy summertime look perfect for any occasion.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more makeup inspiration. You can also check out my work on Instagram at @paintedbyspencer. Until next time, see you soon!
