Tesla Service Experience in the UK: Model 3 Repair

Hello everyone, it’s SpawnPoint and welcome back to another video. Since picking up my Tesla Model 3 in November last year, there’s been a small issue with the car that has gradually started to annoy me. Some of you may have noticed this issue in earlier videos – the door alignments. It’s easy to spot as the chrome strips across the top of the door don’t line up, giving the impression that the doors have dropped slightly.

I only had this issue on my driver’s door, and it became a concern when the glass started hitting the B pillar when closing the door. So, I decided it was finally time to get the car booked in for a service and show you the process of how to book your car in for a service.

Booking a service with Tesla is quick and easy through the app on your phone. You select the type of service needed, describe the problem, upload photos, choose your local service center, and select a date and time. I opted for a mobile visit, but unfortunately, it was later changed to a service center visit in Leeds.

On the day of the appointment, I received confirmation texts and a phone call to ensure I was attending. I arrived at the service center, where I was informed of a recall on my car for a wire and loom issue. I opted to have it fixed along with the door alignment problem.

After a short wait, my car was ready, but I noticed that the door still looked the same. I immediately brought it to their attention, and they fixed it promptly. Despite the initial oversight, the overall service experience at Tesla was good. The staff was friendly, and I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything extra.

Although the reason for my visit shouldn’t have occurred in the first place, the service visit was straightforward, quick, and free. The car felt like new again after the repairs, and I headed home satisfied with the outcome.

Have you used the Tesla service center before? What was your experience? If not, what are your thoughts on my experience? Let me know in the comments below. Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more Tesla and tech videos. Thank you for watching, and until next time!
