Must-Try VR Games: The VR Smash or Pass Edition

Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel! As always, I’m Matta311 and this is your go-to channel for everything VR related. Today, I have another exciting Smash Rep Pass video for you, where I give you my first impressions on a bunch of recent releases. I play these games for about 2 hours and let you know if they’re a smash or if you should pass on them.

But before we dive into the games, I want to give a shoutout to Tank Arena Ultimate League, releasing for The Meta Quest on May 23rd. Jump into some 4v4 tank battles with eight unique vehicles to control, each with their own specific powers and role. There are also mini-games and unlockables to enjoy, plus a giveaway for a Meta Quest 3. Check out the link in the description for more details.

Now, let’s talk about the games I played today. First up, “Some Assembly Required” was a surprising robotics building game with challenging physics similar to Kerbal Space Program. Building robots to complete tasks was both fun and frustrating, but overall a solid experience.

Next, “Ultimate Swing Golf” caught me off guard with its impressive graphics and gameplay. It straddles the line between simulation and arcade, making it accessible for both casual and serious golfers. The mechanics felt great, and the game’s overall design was top-notch.

I also tried out the Early Access release of “Convergence,” a game that was originally called Paradox of Hope. Despite some control issues, the game’s dystopian world and unique companion mechanics with a German Shepherd were intriguing. I’m excited to see how this game progresses in the future.

Lastly, I revisited “Masters of Light,” a VR exercise game that combines elements of Space Pirate Trainer with a workout experience. The hand tracking and gameplay mechanics were impressive, and the game’s immersive storyline added to the overall experience.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the games I played today. Each one offered something unique and enjoyable, making it difficult to choose a favorite. If you’re a fan of VR gaming, I highly recommend checking out these titles for yourself.

That’s all for today’s Smash Rep Pass video. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more VR content. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you next time!
